All new! Building Independence Project

Disability Service Provider Network (DSPN) is excited to introduce the Building Independence Project!

Building Independence is a workshop series designed to empower those that sel-direct their own services.

This interactive training will:

  • Highlight the advantages and responsibilities of self-directed supports along with identifying the key tasks in managing those supports.

  • Assist participants in recognizing the skills, experience, and essential qualities they want in a care worker.

  • Provide guidance for managing, maintaining, and retaining high-quality care workers long term.

The Building Independence training consists of four 2-hour sessions and is conducted online, making it convenient for participants across Wisconsin.
