It is a wish which stays a wish for most parents because of their children’s unruly eating habits that causes health to deteriorate and make the child weaker. A health chils will perform better in sports, eduction and will have a better adult life. A unhealthy child will suffer from depression for the rest of her life and also be economically bad for the parents and the child too.

Meal times are like punishment for most children who are unable to get the full nutrition from the little snacks they consume. The mealtimes are essential for children and for a healthy future. A proper time it is required at which a child eats a balanced meal every day. This will synchronize the digestive system and the body which will bring everything in tune. Beginning from the age of one year to adolescence, children grow about 2 ½ inches every year. This requires appropriate food and nutrition. Hence this calls for a small effort from your side to make a child eat the right amount of food.

Practicing patience at the dinner table is the first rule. There is no point in arguing at the meal times and force children to eat. Mealtimes need to be made into a pleasant experience which will instill good manners and etiquette in children. Threatening children never works while perusing them to eat and neither does bribing. You can substitute nutritious and tasty snacks instead of food during dinner times or after it. Keep the television switched off which is a huge distraction when it comes to food or anything else. The mean times need to be fixed and the entire family if possible needs to join at the table, this is important socially and psychologically.
