Each culture has its own perspectives on different facets of life. This can concern religion, fashion, parenting or education. For some cultures, it can mean giving the members of a society the opportunity to get a full education. For others, it means dictating the choices, for example, your role in society after marriage. Some even go so far as to break it down into age or caste groups.
If you live in a country with a freedom of choice then the world is your oyster when if comes to the upbringing of your children. Your culture will allow you to take non-traditional, yet still effective methods of educating and raising your sons and daughters. You as as parent can choose your own fashion style and ultimately give your child the right to choose what to wear. If your daughter wants to dress head to toe in Dereon clothing then so be it. On the other hand, if you are someone who was raised in a culture that did specify what women could wear, you may have some misgivings of your own.
That’s OK, because that’s what makes this world of ours so diverse—the differences we all have.
Parenting around the world stretches from one extreme to another and there can be vast parenting differences between next door neighbors. Some parents choose to home school their children as opposed to mainstream education, others prefer to have their son or daughter focus on academics and not sports or gaming. Whatever the differences are, they are almost certainly influenced by the culture you were once raised in or the culture you live in now.
Don’t that there is a distinct connection between who you are, where you came from, and your parenting philosophy.
